Well school is over for the year. I have mixed feelings about it. In a way I’m happy that there won’t be anymore work or assessment for two and a half months. It’s a good long break. I know this sounds bad, but I’m also kind of relieved to not see everyone. So much has happened that everybodys relationships are strained. In a way I want to leave school but I kind of don’t.

The last few days of school were a lot of fun. We had icypole day which was on a perfect day. Our final mufti day had a “Crimes Against Fashion” theme. It was amazing seeing everybody turn up looking like complete losers. HAHA. Some of the teachers came in our school uniform. And it’s true, they make the uniform look disgusting, but I have to say it doesn’t look too bad on the kids. We went to a waterpark called Jambaroo in Wollongong. It was SO MUCH FUN. There is no way of describing the feeling you get when your drowning in a wave pool beside people you love. Well. That’s a bit of an exaggeration but still.

Our Year 10 Formal was on Monday night. I spent all of Sunday and Monday getting ready for it. This formal had been in the planning for a year. And my god was it work all the work. In the weeks coming up to the formal, the buzz was growing. My car was a Porsche 966 turbo, which I got free of charge. I was so excited, I love Porsches and I’ve always wanted 911, but a 966 was the closest I could get to it in Canberra. Pooey. Anyway. Everyone looked so great. I have never seen anybody so dressed up and I admit it was the first time in my life that I had dressed up. It was really great. I won the award for Most Opinionated Feminine. Haha. The awards were all in good nature some of them were: Biggest Princess, Most Gangsta, Smooth Operator, Biggest Whinger, Sweetest Bangs and Craziest Hairdo. The teachers awards were also pretty funny, such as: Most Emo, Sensitive Flower, Worst Beard, Least Likely to be Take Seriously and Maddest Ginger. We only have a small grade so it was pretty intimate after the parents left. It was really nice and the DJ was pretty good. The presentation was good and the food was okay I guess.

The after party kinda seemed to go forever, probably because we were tired. The music was good. The booze was good. Everyone was happy. Nearly everyone. But ahhhh well. We got complaints from neighbours but it’s not like anybody cared. People were having fights in the street and others were hooking up. We had an accident with the peanuts they ended up spread on the floor, and we ended up lying in them. Me and one of the guys left early, and thank god, apparently the police arrived.

The day after I had road ready. Which is a course for kids learning how to drive. It was really hard to try and concentrate when all you want to do is sleep. Yesterday I had to continue the course and failed the test. I had food poisoning. Last night we had to go to Senior School Celebration which is pretty much an awards night. At least this year different people got the awards, last year it was two people getting 12 awards each.

That’s really all that’s been happening. I’m really tired. So yeh. And I have my Year 10 Graduation on Monday. After that I’m going to the Goldcoast.
